═══ 1. Purpose of MakeObj ═══ MakeObj helps you create two program objects (icons). An application icon is created and placed on the desktop with a name you specify. A startup icon is created and placed in the startup folder. The startup icon runs ObjWait, and then waits for each drive letter to become available. After all drive letters are available, ObjWait starts the Application icon Click on the links below for help with each field. Application name Object ID Path to ObjWait Drives to wait for The application icon that MakeObj creates is blank. You will have to modify it to have the correct program name, working directory, parameters and settings. ═══ 2. Application name ═══ Enter the name you want to give to the application program object (icon) on your desktop. The name must be different than any icons already on your desktop or it will not be created. Note: the application icon that MakeObj creates is blank. You will have to modify it to have the correct program name, working directory, and parameters. ═══ 3. Object ID ═══ The object ID identifies the application object being created. ObjWait will use this ID to start your application. The object ID must start with '<' and end with '>' and must be unique on your computer. Example: ═══ 4. Drives to wait for ═══ Before starting the application, ObjWait will wait until all the the drives you specify are available. Click to put a "check" by each drive letter you want to wait for. ═══ 5. Path to ObjWait ═══ The startup icon uses this path and name to execute ObjWait. Enter the full path and name where you have installed ObjWait.exe Example: c:\util\objwait.exe
